How this website handles personal information.

Draft for legal review. This is not legal advice and it is not a statement that Digiting has completed a legal compliance review.

Digiting collects personal information that you send on the contact form: your name, business, email, optional phone number, country, and the description of your request. The purpose is to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. The record is stored in the website’s private admin and may be emailed to the notification address configured for the business.

If you are in Canada, this draft is written with PIPEDA’s fair-information principles in mind: a stated purpose, limited collection, access on request, and safeguards appropriate to a small professional site. Provincial rules can add duties. This page is a draft for legal review, not a certificate of compliance. If you are in Libya or elsewhere, we still limit collection to the form and we will follow the agreement we make with you plus any mandatory local rule that applies to the engagement.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not require an account to read the site.
  • We do not load analytics unless a measurement ID is configured and you allow it.

Access and correction

Email the address you wrote to, or send a new form, and ask for a copy or a correction of your inquiry. If a public email is later published in the site settings, you can use that too. We will not ask you to use a fake office address that has not been verified.

Retention

Inquiries are kept long enough to answer and to record what was agreed. They can be closed in the admin when the conversation is finished. Backups made by the host may persist for the host’s backup cycle.
